Reply for Facebook Fans

I guess the VIA application process has been taking longer than I thought so there haven't been that many changes since my last post. However, with my new Facebook account there's suddenly a lot of people claiming to care about where I'm at. So here's my effort to satisfy you all.

I'm still in Michigan living with my parents. Yep, 25, living in Mom and Dad's basement, and watching lots of movies and TV. Living the nerds dream!

Seriously though, I've been working on returning to Kenya and possibly traveling around East Africa with WGM as a VIA. I've sent in my application and just today have been told I've been approved by Head Quarters. Next step is getting approval from the Kenya field missionaries, all my "aunts and uncles" I'm a shoe in. Then we have to work out a budget and other details, I'll have to raise support and then eventually I'll be getting out of Michigan.

In the meantime, I'm cashiering etc. at Meijer here in Grand Rapids. Don't particularly care for it, but it pays.

I'm also working as a freelance Videographer in my free time. Right now I'm getting started editing one of my biggest projects ever, the Hollow Rock camp video. It's a promo for a Holiness Camp in Ohio. I shot 10 hours of footage back in July and now I'm sorting through it and sifting out the bad stuff.

And I guess that's a semi-decent update on where I'm at and what I'm up to.
